850 Ton Vessel Built by Boilermakers at Dacro Industries
- Posted on January 8, 2019
This is the largest, if not the longest vessel ever built, and moved in one piece, in Alberta’s history. The 97 meter high tower (roughly the size of a Canadian football field) makes it’s journey from Dacro Industries’ shop in Edmonton to a new plant in Fort Saskatchewan. The move started Sunday night and is expected to take a total of 4 days to reach it’s destination.
Built on time with pride by some of Lodge 146’s finest quality shop Boilermakers!!
