Training Course Reimbursement Program

The Boilermakers Lodge 146 Training Trust Fund offers reimbursement upon successful completion of many trade related courses.  A list of approved courses is available at the Members Only Section.  If the course is approved, follow the steps outlined below to apply for pre-approval for reimbursement.

A pre-authorization for reimbursement application must be submitted to the Boilermakers Welding Centre PRIOR to course start date. Should you have any questions please contact Jody at (780) 451-5992 Ext. 266.  Find the pre-authorization form on the forms page by clicking here.

ASK BTATS – Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge Centre, Building Trades of Alberta Training Society

With funding from the Building Trades of Alberta and a grant from Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training, ASK was established to provide training, answer questions, and coach apprentices (including APA’s and Second Ticket Apprentices) through the apprenticeship system.

ASK offers free classroom-based training in basic math competency, student finance and financial planning, English in the Workplace, and basic blueprint reading. View course descriptions and calendar at If you have questions please call 587-488-4227.

Alloy TIG Incentive Program

The Boilermakers Lodge 146 Alloy TIG Incentive Program was created to encourage Lodge 146 Welders to upgrade their skills and satisfy the demand for Alloy TIG Welders in industry.  Download the Eligibility requirements and Project Outlines to get started.  If you have any questions please call the Welding Centre at 780-451-5999
