Canada’s National Day of Mourning: Purple Ribbons supporting COVID-19 Essential Workers

April 28th is Canada’s National Day of Mourning.  This year COVID-19 has brought new meaning to a day that honours workers who have lost their lives, were injured or became ill from their job.  Wear a Purple Ribbon and stand for a moment of silence at 11 a.m. to remember lives forever changed and honour essential workers risking their lives to battle COVID-19.
