Rigging Workshop Pilot Project

Event Description

We are looking for volunteers to participate in a two day rigging workshop pilot project. The purpose of this project is to gain feedback on the workshop prior to launch. This is not a basic rigging course and participants should have some rigging experience with cranes and engineered lifts.

The course contents include the following modules and is classroom only:

Day 1 (March 16, 2021)

• Load weight distribution
• Sling tension
• Rigging selection
• Crane chart interpretation
• Classroom exercises in each module

Day 2 (March 17, 2021)

• Drawing interpretation
• Engineered lift studies
• Lift planning and execution
• Classroom exercises in each module
