Filling the Gap Series: Pressure Pathway
Event Description
A focused program designed to prepare welders to obtain their B or C Pressure Certification and transition into Alberta’s pressure welding industry.
This 4-week welding course will cover all the essentials required for a journeyperson welder to successfully pass the Albera B-Pressure certification. 2nd and 3rd year welding apprentices will be welcomed to prepare them for their C-pressure certification that will mimic the Albera B-Pressure syllabus.
PPE requirements: Safety Glasses, Work boots, Cotton or flame-resistant clothing, Welding shield, Gloves
Time: 8:30AM – 4:30PM daily, Mon – Fri. Lunch: 1 hour, lunch not provided
Prerequisites: Local 146 members – Journeyperson welders without an Alberta B pressure certification or 2nd and 3rd year apprentices*.
*APA’s may also apply. Members will be given priority.
