ESC FALL PROTECTION

How to Access Training:
- Book a course with a third party provider. Find a provider that offers the Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection in your province on the ESC WEBSITE.
- Energy Safety Canada Fall Protection is offered a couple times a month at the Boilermaker Edmonton Apprenticeship & Mechanical Training Centre (AMTC). View Course Calendar for dates. Travel Cards who pull a dispatch slip may take this course at the AMTC at no-charge provided they have enough time before their start date.
Reimbursement: Travel Cards from locals that do not already require this certification ( 128, 191, 203, 271 ) and who have been dispatched may submit a reimbursement application for this course. Click here to download reimbursement application

ESC CONFINED SPACE ENTRY AND MONITOR
Type: Online or In-person
Duration: 4-6 hours
Recertify: Every 3 Years

ONLINE: Create an account at www.energysafetycanada.com and register for Confined Space Entry and Monitor.
IN-PERSON: Book a course with a third party provider. Find a provider that offers the Energy Safety Canada Confined Space in your province on the ESC WEBSITE
Reimbursement: Travel Cards from locals that do not already require this certification ( 73, 128, 191, 203, 271, 555) and who have been dispatched may submit a reimbursement application for this course. Click here to download reimbursement application

ESC COMMON SAFETY ORIENTATION (CSO)
Type: Online
Duration: 4.5 hours

RESPIRATOR FIT TESTING
Type: In-person
Duration: 45 min
Recertify: Every 2 Years
Quantitative Only – 3M Half Mask – model 6500QL series and 3M Full Mask – model 6000 series
How to Access:
- Book a course with a third party provider. Please be sure they offer the correct fit tests.
- Travel Cards who pull a dispatch slip may do their respirator fit testing at the Boilermaker Edmonton Apprenticeship & Mechanical Training Centre at no charge. Call 780-451-5992 x300 or email 146safetytraining@boilermakers.ca to book an appointment.

CSTS 2020 FUNDAMENTALS
Type: Online
Duration: 4 hours

How to Access Training:
Click on this link: https://youracsa.csod.com/client/youracsa/default.aspx
Click on Register Here and set up your profile. At the bottom click division and enter Boilermakers, choose ID 217589. You will then be prompted to choose a password.
Click on CSTS 2020 Fundamentals (you do not need to do the add ons)
Once you are finished you can print your ticket by clicking My Courses on the main dashboard. Select Completed courses in the drop down box and click view credentials. You can print off your ticket and also please send us a copy so we can update your file.

H2S AWARENESS
Type: Online
Duration: 1 hour
Recertify: Every 3 Years
How to Access Training: Various providers offer H2S Awareness, there isn’t a specific version required. We recommend Energy Safety Canada

AUDIOMETRIC EXAM WITH AUDIOGRAM
Type: In-person
Duration: 1 hour
Recertify: Every year
How to Access:
Boilermakers’ National Benefit Plan will cover the cost of an annual hearing test up to a max of $50.00. Ask your provider for an Audiometric Exam with Audiogram. Have them complete the Boilermaker Audiogram form and the Audiometric Testing Claim Form. You can download them from the Boilermakers’ National Benefit Plan website. Then submit your receipt along with your claim form and audiogram to medical@boilermakersbenefits.ca.

AERIAL WORK PLATFORM THEORY
Type: Online
Duration: 1.5 hours
Recertify: Every 3 Years
How to Access Training: Various providers offer Aerial Work Platform theory or Mobile Elevating Work Platforms theory, there isn’t a specific version required. We recommend worksitesafety.ca
