Dispatch AnnouncementsCallout for March 11, 2010The online call-out is a service for our members and is limited to certain information. Refer to the audio callout or inquire at dispatch for more specific information. For specific information on living out allowances please go to the Dispatch Menu. Out of town members bidding on jobs must register in from 8 - 9 am at 780-451-5992 and enter #2 on the keypad. Travel Cards can register in for work between 9 - 11 am at 780-701-0020. Leave name/class/contact number and preferred job(s) with the receptionist. All field work requires CSTS (Construction Safety Training System) and all jobs are asap starts unless otherwise stated. It is the members responsibility to ensure D & A tests results (when required) are confirmed negative before reporting to site. Also have photo id and trade qualifications for orientation. In Memorium It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Brother Samandeep (Sam) Grewal on March 5th, 2010. Brother Sam was a member of the Brotherhood of Boilermakers for 4 consecutive years and will be missed. A funeral will be held in Vancouver but we have no details as of yet. Shell Scotford Shutdown Employees will be on-site for 10 hours and paid for 10 hours. There will only be two (2) 1/2 hour breaks per shift. Order of dispatch will be: Name hires, riggers, fitters, journeyman welders, b/tig weldersthen apprentices as we may go to other lists to fill certain orders.
